We welcome children of all denominations. Morning school begins with a short, simple Assembly. Children may be dropped off after 8.20am but should arrive at school no later than 8.40am for registration.

Our ethos is a firm belief that children will learn if they are happy and secure in their environment. We are also committed to co-education which seems to us to be the most natural preparation for adolescence. This website can only touch on a few aspects of the school. We hope that what you have read will tempt you to come and see us.

Nursery

Full-time sessions: 8.40am - 3.15pm
Morning sessions: 8.40am - 12 noon
Morning and lunch: 8.40am - 1pm
 
Forms 1 & 2 (4-6 years): 8.40am - 3.15pm
Forms 3-9 (6-13 years): 8.40am - 3.45pm
Forms 4 & 5 (7-9 years): Prep period until 4.15pm
Forms 6-9 (9-13 years): Prep period until 5pm


Directions
When arriving at Highclere from Newbury turn right at Mount Road and take the second left along Pantings Lane where you will come to the entrance to Thorngrove.

Coming from Andover turn left into Mount Road.



Buses

The school operates a minibus run in the morning. First pick-up is at 8.00am at the Homebase car park in Andover.  It then picks up from Hurstbourne Tarrant and then on to Highclere.



Fees

List of fees per term from September 2007

Forms 1,2 & 3 (4-7 year olds) £2,660.00*
Forms 4 & 5 (7-9 year olds) £2,940.00*
Forms 6,7,8 & 9 (9-13 year olds) £3,270.00*
*Books, lunches and stationery are included in the fees.

Nursery (from 2yrs 6mths)

Morning - 8.30 - 12 noon: £265 per session per term in advance
Morning - 8.30 - 1.00pm inc. lunch: £302 per session per term in advance
Afternoon - 1.00 - 3.15pm: £210 per session per term in advance
Full Day £495 per session per term in advance

Music £185 per term (10 lessons)

After Care 3.15 - 4.15 / 4.15 - 5.00: £2.90 per session
